Travel Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Overview

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

Shift: Midday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Floating: Required
Patient ratio: 4:1
Setting: Emergency Department, Level 3 Trauma

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
ENPC
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Additional Requirements

Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
Must be able to call out at least 2 hours before shift start
Auto offers only; no interviews
Blocked scheduling not approved
48-hour guarantees not approved
Maximum 1 RTO per schedule
6-week scheduling
RTO blackout dates or required holidays may apply
Full uniform, any color scrubs
EMR used: MedHost (EDIS)

Provides emergency nursing care using the nursing process
Performs assessments, communicates findings, administers medications, monitors side effects, and documents patient care
Supports safe care delivery through critical thinking, leadership, and supervision of assigned personnel
