Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job Summary

Job Title

Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location

Charlottesville, Virginia

Schedule

Night shift
3x12 hours
19:00–07:00
36 or 48 hours per week available
Every other weekend and every other holiday

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Unit / Setting

Float pool assignment across acute care nursing areas
Includes med-surg and telemetry units
May float to areas such as geriatrics/palliative care, orthopedics & trauma, medicine, surgical, neurology, epilepsy, stroke, acute cardiology, neurosurgery, vascular, heme/onc, solid organ transplant, thoracic cardiovascular, digestive health, special pathogens, and ED boarders
Does not include ICU or intermediate care units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Scheduling Notes

Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved
