Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Work history
- Emergency Department skills checklist current to 1 year
- 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- ED Triage/Cardiac Room experience
- IV certification
- Meditech Expanse experience
- ENPC
- CEN
- BSN
Work Expectations
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled or needed:
- Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and the weekend after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
- New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
- No schedule accommodations such as block scheduling
- Requested time off must be submitted at upload; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- Must be able to function independently under general guidance and use critical thinking, time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem solving
- Must maintain emotional stability in emergency settings
Additional Notes
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Must have their own vehicle
- Personal scrubs of any color are allowed
