Description
Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Toledo, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Floating required within the metro region as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Setting and Responsibilities
- Adult critical care and emergency department experience
- Provides general and critical care respiratory therapy
- Performs airway management, suctioning, ventilation support, blood gas sampling and analysis, specimen collection, CPR, and rapid response/code support
- Assists with high-risk deliveries
- Comfortable with basic pediatric respiratory therapy care
Additional Notes
- Epic familiarity is required
- Grey scrubs
- No local travelers within 50 miles
