Description
RN Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days with on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Cardiac Cath Lab (3 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- BLS
- ACLS
Schedule Details
- On call one night a week and one weekend a month
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document care accurately and completely
- Develop and carry out individualized patient plans of care
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in performance improvement and shared governance activities
- Support other units and departments with clinical expertise
- Use critical thinking for patient safety, patient experience, complex situations, and delegation
- Participate in peer review, peer feedback, and professional development
