Oncology RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Charlottesville, Virginia
Night shift
13-week assignment
36 or 48 hours per week available
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays
Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved

Unit Details

Adult inpatient oncology unit with hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant care
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
Must follow the facility float policy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Oncology experience with at least 1 year of experience
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS certification

Additional Notes

ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification may be pending at submission if it can be completed before start
Depending on experience, the manager may also require completion of the fundamentals course before start
