CT Tech/Xray Tech

Job Overview

Contract role in Hot Springs, South Dakota
13-week assignment
40 hours per week
4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Rotation of weekends and call

Required Qualifications

ARRT (R)
1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
CT Technologist experience within the last year
Radiology Technologist experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergent diagnostic imaging with fixed and portable X-ray and CT
Adjust exposure settings, patient positioning, table position, and radiation beam to support proper image acquisition and patient protection
Process images in PACS and complete exams per radiologist protocols
Document, charge, and process exams in electronic medical records
Schedule patients for X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor appointments
Assist with contrast media administration for CT exams
Support quality control, radiation safety, patient safety, and timely exam completion
Provide customer service to patients and staff
