PCU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Honesdale, Pennsylvania
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Float assignment between PCU and MedSurg
Start: ASAP
No block scheduling
No call requirements
Every other weekend and holiday required
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

25 beds on each floor
Ratios: PCU 5:1; MedSurg 7:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
HHS/OIG screening
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
Drug screen
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
COVID vaccination card or declination
Pennsylvania child abuse search
Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results
