Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NRP

Unit Details

9 labor and delivery beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and 3 OBED beds
Patient ratio: 1–2
Floating may include mother/baby or other departments for task support
4 weekend shifts per month

Clinical Setting

Women’s Services unit in a main hospital setting
Laborist team model with 24/7 midwives, dedicated CRNA, and OB coverage
8-bed level 2 NICU with 24/7 NNP coverage
Postpartum couplet care and donor milk availability

Skills and Experience Preferences

Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities
Spinning Babies and STABLE are helpful

IUPC
FSE
MgSO4
Postpartum hemorrhage management, including JADA system
Nitrous oxide
