Job Overview

Location: Salem, Virginia
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
OB experience
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN

Unit Details

Labor and delivery unit with postpartum, newborn care, OBED triage, inductions, and cesarean sections
Patient ratios include 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural cases
Floating is limited to within the unit only

Schedule

4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
No call requirement for travel staff

Preferred Experience

Cesarean section experience as circulator, first assist, or scrub

Other Notes

Scrubs are provided
Ideal candidate is energetic and self-directed
