EP Lab RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Setting: EP Lab

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Academic EP experience preferred
RCES preferred

Schedule Details

Various days of the week
No weekend requirement, though this may change based on staffing needs
On-call required: 2 call days per week and holiday shift call

Job Duties

Prepare the environment
Assess patients
Review safety checklists
Monitor patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures

Additional Details

First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience in a busy EP Lab
No floating within scope or between like units
Patient ratio: 1:1
Scrubs are provided
Charting system: EPIC
