Description
EP Lab RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Setting: EP Lab
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic EP experience preferred
- RCES preferred
Schedule Details
- Various days of the week
- No weekend requirement, though this may change based on staffing needs
- On-call required: 2 call days per week and holiday shift call
Job Duties
- Prepare the environment
- Assess patients
- Review safety checklists
- Monitor patients during cardiac electrical impulse procedures
Additional Details
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience in a busy EP Lab
- No floating within scope or between like units
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Scrubs are provided
- Charting system: EPIC
