Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Corrections setting

Compliance and Onboarding

Government-issued photo ID
Social Security card or SSN
Proof of E-Verify or attestation
2 clinical references
Background check covering the past 7 years
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Physical exam
Fit test with approved mask
Tdap vaccination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
9-panel drug screen including marijuana
COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
Photo for badge
State license verification
NURSYS verification
Pass/fail testing and competency exams required before start
Orientation and facility paperwork must be completed before start

Scheduling Notes

Holiday rotation is required
For September start dates, time off requests are not approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day
Nurses are expected to work 3 of 6 designated holidays based on holiday group assignment
