Everett, WA

About

Located in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, Everett is about 30 miles north of Seattle, sitting high on a bluff above the Snohomish River and Port Gardner Bay. It's best known as the home of the Boeing Aircraft plant. Boeing Future of Flight offers tours and interactive experiences, including a behind-the-scenes look into the Boeing Factory. Everett Marina Village is also popular, especially during the summer when it hosts free concerts on The Landing. A farmer's market runs every Sunday during the season, and several eateries offer waterfront views and delectable meals. Anyone who enjoys the arts will appreciate everything from world-class theater and improv to energetic street art and galleries like Schack Art Center, which displays works available for purchase and hosts classes.
