Operating Room Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Abilene, Texas
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Day shift, 5x8 hours
Monday to Friday
Call and late days required
May float to another campus or another acceptable unit

Clinical Focus

Neuro/spine
Orthopedics/trauma
General/robotics/trauma
Craniotomy and burr hole experience required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Craniotomy and burr hole experience
Ortho Trauma experience
Neurosurgery experience

Additional Notes

Modules are required during orientation
Parking is available for orientation and employee parking after orientation
No fee for parking
Pass/fail testing is required for telemetry RNs
Color blind testing is required
Candidate must review and sign multiple facility documents prior to start
