Operating Room RN

Job Overview

Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday block with call and late days as required
Start timing: Preferred within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Operating Room experience within the last year
2 years of Operating Room experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Craniotomy and burr hole experience
Ortho Trauma experience
Neurosurgery experience
NURSYS verification for RN
Background check
7-year background check within 1 year of start, with annual update
Education verification at highest level
Texas DADS Employability Status Check within 30 days of start
Texas Employee Misconduct Registry check within 30 days of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
References: 2 within 3 years of start
