Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
Specialty area: Cardiovascular operating room
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
2 or more completed travel assignments
BLS certification
CST certification
Certified Surgical Technologist experience

Role Details

Scrub role experience is required
First assist experience is preferred but not required
On-call shifts are assigned and rotated among staff
May float if needed, though infrequently

Unit Environment

6 operating rooms
Staffing includes 1 unit secretary, 1 charge nurse, 1 PCA, and 1 core tech
Hospital provides scrubs
Documentation system used on the unit is Cerner

VAD insertions
TAVR
VATS
Lobectomy
