Description
Neuro ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Aurora, Colorado
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day and night rotation
- On-call: No
- Weekend requirement: Yes, per unit needs
- Floating: Required; may also float to sister facilities in the metro region as needed
- Scrub color: Navy
- Patient ratio: 1:2
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
- Neuro ICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS

- Neuro ICU
- High-acuity, fast-paced surgical ICU
- 24-bed neurosurgical ICU
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Level I Trauma Center
Key Skills / Experience
- Hourly neurological assessments
- Intracranial pressure management
- External ventricular drain management
- Subarachnoid hemorrhage management
- Post-thrombectomy management
- Post-craniotomy management, including post brain tumor resection
