Description
Endoscopy RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day/Evening, 8-hour shifts
- Start times: Rotating between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
- Weekly schedule: 40 hours per week
- Call: Weeknight call required
- Shift flexibility: May need to stay past the end of shift to finish the day’s schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Endoscopy experience with 2 years of experience
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Must pass telemetry testing before start
Notes for Candidates
- The role involves RN-driven sedation assessments and managing patients within a targeted sedation range based on Ramsay Sedation Scale scores
- This position includes recovery care for some patients who receive general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation
