RN - Med Surg Telemetry

Location

Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Job Type

Travel
36 hours per week
3x12 shifts
13-week contract

Schedule Notes

Weekly orientation
No block schedule requests
48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
Weekend coverage includes 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
No on-call requirement, though scheduled shifts may be flexed to on-call twice during the contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Experience / Skills

Telemetry experience
Recent acute care experience
Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio
Travel experience
Floating to IMC and ED is expected

Unit Details

Adult and geriatric patient population
40-bed unit
Med-surg telemetry setting

Preferred

RN experience of at least 2 years
Preceptor experience
Charge experience

Dress Code

Black scrubs, top and bottom
Open-toe shoes are not allowed
