PICU RN

Role Summary

  • Travel RN position in PICU
  • 2 openings
  • Nights, 1830-0700
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License
  • Ventilator competency
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
  • Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • None stated

Float Scope

  • May float to NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes

Unit Details

  • Pediatric ICU 6F
  • 12 beds
  • Patient ratios: ICU status 2:1, intubated 1:1, peds status 3:1

Additional Notes

  • Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
