Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana
10 OR rooms
Average daily census: 20-25
Day shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Call: 1x per week and 1 weekend per month
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
PALS
CNOR
ACSL

Additional Assignment Expectations

Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve on the relief team
