Role Overview

ER RN for a community hospital
Travel/Contract assignment
Locals allowed at the same rate

Schedule

Night shift
3x12 hours
19:00 to 7:00
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Required Documents / Compliance

Government-issued photo ID
Complete application/resume
NURSYS verification for RNs
Permanent RN license; temporary RN licenses are not accepted
Color blind testing
Abuse reporting competency
Physical exam within 1 year
Tdap vaccine or declination
TB screening within 30 days of start, or acceptable alternative documentation as stated in the source
Drug screen within 60 days of start
Flu vaccine or exemption documentation, if applicable
Background check and other standard pre-start compliance items required by the source
