TELE/PCU - Cardiac RN

Role

Travel RN assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Unit: Tele / PCU
Trauma Level 1
36 guaranteed hours per week
Every other weekend, depending on unit staffing needs
No call requirements
Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Catheterization experience
Pennsylvania clearances required before start, including:
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
- Department of Human Services fingerprinting
- FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting
- PA State Police clearance
DS within 90 days
No declinations for MMR or TB
Must be able and willing to work all shift times: days, nights, and mids

Preferred

2+ years of experience
Positive attitude

Unit Details

Patient population: Cardiac geriatric
Common diagnoses/treatments: CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchmen, TAVR, Postop cardiac cath, post op pacer
Equipment: Pacer Alines
EHR: EPIC

Additional Notes

Auto offers for candidates with no RTO
Travelers must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
Orientation is weekly on Mondays
