Labor and Delivery RN

Role Overview

Travel/contract Labor and Delivery RN in Dallas, Texas
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 hours per week
Variable schedule may be required
Weekends, holidays, and call are required
One call shift per pay period

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Experience with Epic
Accepts first-time travelers
2 professional references within 3 years of hire
Tdap
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
Hepatitis B immunity or documentation, or signed facility declination
Drug test within 30 days of start
Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test completed onsite during orientation
Photo ID matching candidate documentation
E-Verify or attestation
Background check within 30 days of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM
HHS/OIG
State license verification
Pass/fail testing for RN candidates
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
