Unit Details

32 individual rooms
Typical staffing includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and a HUC
Patient ratios are 5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift, with stretch ratios up to 6:1 and 7:1
Common equipment includes walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, CPM, lifts, vital sign machines, hover mats, bair huggers, and wheelchairs
Common procedures include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter care, NG tubes, and wound vac maintenance/removal

Schedule

Every other weekend

Floating

May float to other Med-Surg units
