Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Graduation from a respiratory therapy program
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS, if required by the unit
- PALS, if required by the unit
- NRP, if required by the unit
- EFM, if required by the unit
- Tech certification verification within 30 days of start
- NIH Stroke Certification, if required by the unit
Health Requirements
- Physical exam
- Fit mask
- Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- MMR immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination
- Varicella immunity
- Negative 10-panel drug screen
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination is recommended but not required
Additional Notes
- Extension request requires managerial approval before processing
- Annual ethics and compliance policy acknowledgment is required for new contracts signed 11/7/24 and beyond
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate is required before start and annually
- Confidential fraud, waste, and abuse and compliance reporting mechanism form is required
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy must be reviewed and signed
- Background acknowledgment form is required for subcontractor candidates
- Ohio variable schedule attestation is required for OR employees only
