MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Abingdon, Virginia
Night shift: 18:30–7:00
36 hours per week
Rotating weekends/holidays
No call
Floating required
13-week contract
1:7 ratios
General orientation starts on Sundays
16 hours of nonbillable orientation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

References: 3 preferred

Additional Notes

Hospital can cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census decrease or decreased resource need without penalty
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
