CVOR

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:00
40 hours per week
75-mile radius

Role Details

At least 1 year of CVOR experience is required
Must be proficient in open-heart cases, valves, bypass, and hybrid cases
Must be comfortable circulating vascular cases, including carotids, Fem-Fem bypass, and Triple A cases
Must be comfortable setting up lines and drips needed by anesthesia
When not doing CVOR, nurses will be utilized in other cases
Includes rotating weekday night and weekend call
Call weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
One day of call during the week and every 4th–5th weekend
CVOR nurses will back up General Nurses on call and vice versa

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
CVOR experience within the last year
1 year of CVOR experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Tech Cert Verification - National
Acknowledgement of PassFail Testing
NURSYS Verification
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable
Competency Exam, as applicable to profession/specialty
Color Blind Testing Online
Background checks and verifications required within 60 days of start
2 professional references
