Description
OT Home Health
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 40 hours/week
- Home Health assignment
- Adults and Geriatrics
- 8–12 patients assigned
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend work required: No
- On-call: N/A
- May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Not open to sister-facility floating
- Block scheduling not guaranteed
- Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted
- Pending state license accepted: Yes
- RTO over 7 days needs approval
- Guaranteed hours: 40/week, with facility allowed to call off 3 times during a 13-week assignment
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NBCOT
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
- Driver's License

- If the traveler does not already have MOAB certification, they will receive a 4-hour de-escalation course during the first week
- If MOAB is not passed, the contract may be cancelled
- Mileage is reimbursed at the federal IRS standard mileage rate
