Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Overview

Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
May float to like units within scope
First-timers accepted, but not preferred
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (R)
ARRT (C)
SCRQSA
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Siemens equipment operation
ACLS, with pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire
Must provide a radiation badge
South Carolina license verification/primary source verification as applicable
2 clinical references
Complete application/resume
Skills checklist for applicable unit
Proof of work eligibility and required identity documents
Annual background check
Fit test within 90 days prior to start
Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Annual TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption during flu season
Physical exam
Competency exam
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable

Preferred

Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exam experience in both modalities
Siemens equipment experience
Epic familiarity
PACS familiarity

Work Environment

Teaching hospital
Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation
865 staffed beds
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: teal blue top, black bottoms
Parking is paid nights and weekends only, with a one-time $20 parking pass fee

Additional Notes

On-call is not required
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
