Description
CT/X-Ray Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Woodstock, Virginia
- Unit: CT Scan
- 25-bed Critical Access facility
- 1 opening
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: Fri, Sat & Sun 7:00pm - 7:00am (3x12s)
- Weekend requirement: Every Saturday & Sunday
- No on-call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT
- Completion of a radiology technology program
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years as a staff Radiologic Technologist
- 3 years of clinical experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting
Role Details
- Performs CT and general radiology x-rays, including portable procedures, for patients of all ages
- Uses PACS, HIS, and RIS in the course of patient care and documentation
- Assists with invasive procedures as necessary
- Participates in continuing education to maintain current knowledge and skills
