Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN position in Willmar, Minnesota
- 13-week assignment
- Start date: ASAP, any Monday
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 0645-1915 and 1900-0700
- Every 3rd weekend
- Floating may include patient safety sitters or the NA role; when nurses float, they do not take a patient assignment but may do aide work or PSS
- Traveler’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Background check required within 1 year of start
- Fingerprinting required
- Third-party education verification required
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for RNs
- Skills checklist required
- Two references from recent employer(s) within 2 years of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask required
- Tdap vaccination required
- Negative TB documentation required
- Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
- Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
Preferred
- EFM certification
