Med Surg RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Unit: 2 west
30 beds
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
IV insertion skills
Experience with NG tubes
Experience with wound care
Experience with cardiac or critical care drips

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 1:6
Floating: will float between 2 North and 2 west
Scheduling: every other weekend and holiday rotation; block scheduling is not guaranteed
Documentation system: editech

Unit Environment

2-3 techs per shift
Clinical coordinator on days varies
Charge nurse, manager, and director support
Family environment
