Description

PCU RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Columbia, South Carolina.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
36 hours per week.
13-week contract.
6 weekend shifts per every 6-week schedule.

Unit

41-bed progressive care trauma / Tele unit.
Primarily serves adult patients after traumatic injury requiring surgical intervention.
Telemetry monitoring available for up to 14 patients.
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, flexing to 1:5 as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course.
NIHSS.
Experience with Epic.
