Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Reidsville, North Carolina.
• Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• 36 hours per week.
• EOW rotation; holidays as needed.
• Float required between all Cone Health facilities.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS preferred.
• NIH preferred.

Clinical Focus

• Acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
• Patient population includes acute/chronic respiratory illness, post-op general surgery, post-op general GYN surgery, post-op total knee and hip replacements, orthopedics, acute and chronic pain, active GI bleeding, CHF/pulmonary edema, diabetes with hyper/hypoglycemic conditions, renal failure, drug overdose, CIWA below 7, suicidal patients, arrhythmia, radioactive therapy, uncontrolled or new onset seizures, and stable COVID patients.
• Department 300 may administer Heparin and TNA IV drips.
