Description
MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Del Norte, Colorado
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours: 18:00–6:30
- 36 hours per week
- 2 call shifts per month; call may be days or nights depending on unit needs
- Ratios: 1:6
- First-time travelers accepted
- RTO must be approved by the manager
- Scrub color: Any
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- 2 years of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Unexpired government issued photo ID
- Background check within 1 year of start, including SS Trace and county searches for the last 7 years of locations lived/worked/in school, plus nationwide and sex offender searches
- EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance prior to facility start
- HHS/OIG clearance prior to facility start
- State license verification prior to facility start and upon expiration
- NURSYS verification prior to facility start
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Competency exam
- Colorado CAPS Release Authorization
- Daily Expectations for Nurses acknowledgment
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire for positive TB test
- Measles documentation
- Mumps documentation
- Rubella documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella documentation
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
- Flu vaccination/documentation during flu season
- 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
- Skills checklist
- Colorado CAPS check results
