Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Carrollton, Georgia
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Start ASAP
• Open to 3 or 4 12-hour shifts
• Will float to 4 med/surg Tele units
• Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• Works every other weekend and every other holiday
• Block scheduling may be considered
• Only 1 holiday off is allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care or Hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• 2 professional references within 2 years of start
• Employment application copy
• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• Education verification
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Tdap
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles immunity or MMR documentation
• Mumps immunity or MMR documentation
• Rubella immunity or MMR documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption
• Review/sign required facility documents before start

Preferred

• First-time traveler may be considered depending on experience

Notes

• PALS and NRP are required only as applicable
• Tech certification verification is required only as applicable
• HealthStream modules must be completed within 40 days after start
• The assignment includes annual compliance and documentation requirements
