Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Melbourne, Florida.
• 13-week assignment.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Ratios: 1:4.
• Float scope includes all 4 locations: Holmes, Viera, Cape Canaveral, and Palm Bay.
• May also float to the new Rockledge free-standing ED.
• Guaranteed contracted hours.
• Locals are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida.
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience).
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• PALS issued by American Heart Association.
• TNCC.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with Epic.
• 2 references from authority figures within the last year.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions only.
• Finalized RTO must be included with submission.
• No RTO is allowed for auto-offer consideration.
• On-call is required as needed.
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle.
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance must be on file prior to start.
• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start.
• Fit test within 12 months prior to start.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation.
• TB questionnaire.
• Rubeola (Measles) titer.
• Mumps titer.
• Rubella titer.
• Hepatitis B titer.
• Varicella titer.
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start.
• Current application/resume dated within 90 days of start.
• 2 professional references within 12 months prior to start.
• Competency exam.
