Med/Surg Tele RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Akron, Ohio
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week contract
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Government-issued photo ID
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM monthly
HHS/OIG monthly
Fingerprinting within 48 hours of signed contract; FBI and BCI results required within 12 months of start and updated annually
Education verification
Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
Nursys verification within 30 days of start
Baseline competency exam for bedside RNs, including medication and ECG testing
Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask within 12 months of start and updated annually
Tdap vaccination/documentation
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
Standard 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start and updated annually
Flu documentation
Eye exam within 1 year
2 references from employment within 1 year of start
Employment application with 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
Skills checklist annually
BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation
