RN Med Surg
Overview
- Travel assignment in Thornton, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit
- Medical Acute Care / (620)
- 26-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 6:1
- Day shift staffing: Charge, 4 RNs, and 3 PCTs
- Night shift staffing: Charge, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- 1 year of Med Surg experience in an Acute Care setting within the last year
Preferred
- ACLS
Clinical Details
- Baxter IV pumps
- SCD machines
- Meditech
- Medical patients
- Some drips such as heparin
- Post op radial cardiac cath
Additional Information
- High energy unit
- Patient care experience is a priority
