Description
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse
Overview
- Temp role in Des Moines, Iowa
- Nights shift
- 13-week contract
- 24 months minimum of PICU / Pediatric Intensive Care experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with NICU patients
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Equipment experience with vents and high flow
- Equipment experience with alaris IV pumps and feeding pumps
- Professional reference / reference check from charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months
Unit Details
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 12 beds and all private rooms
- May float to NICU and ED patient holds
