Description
RN PACU
Overview
- Travel assignment in PACU
- 13-week contract
- Rotating schedule with days/weekends/call rotation
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- PACU and PACU pedi experience Level II or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- ICU experience
- ER experience
- CPAN
Unit Details
- PACU
- 10 bays
- 13 RNs
- Floating area(s): Endo, SDC if needed
Procedures / Case Mix
- Pedi-adult cases including lumpectomies, tubes, tonsils, open heart surgery, and Trauma
Schedule / Call
- Call coverage rotates
- Call requirement is a 30-minute response, including being dressed and ready to accept a patient in PACU
- Call frequency: once a week Monday through Thursday, one Friday every 5 weeks, and 2 24-hour weekend shifts in a 5-week schedule

- Scrubs are hospital provided
