Description
Ultrasound Tech - General
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Night shift: Thursday–Saturday, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- First-timers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist experience
- 2 years of Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist experience
- Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- Ultrasound Technologist experience
- ARDMS
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Preferred
- Phillips ultrasound equipment familiarity
Clinical Focus
- Performs independent sonographic imaging of pediatric patients
- Prepares and operates equipment, positions patients, and records diagnostic images
- Must be able to maneuver equipment and improvise positioning when routine positioning is not possible
