RN Post Partum/Mom Baby
Overview
- Travel RN role in Women Services
- Unit based on the 2nd floor of the Main Building
- Unit has 10 LDR beds, 2 ORs, and 2 Triage beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Post Partum experience
- NRP
- AWHONN FM
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Labor with Postpartum
- Triage
Unit Details
- Typical care includes labor and delivery patient care and postpartum couplet care
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN
- Equipment includes updated HillRom and GE
- EMR/document system is Expanse, with monitoring in CPN
Schedule
- Rotating weekends
- Holiday coverage included
Additional Notes
- Scrub color/attire is provided by the unit for the surgical area
