CVICU RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Reston, Virginia
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Unit: CVICU
4 beds
Patient ratios: 1:1 immediate post surgical; 1:2 POD 1-3
Primary Nursing
Floating: same ratio as the unit floated to
Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
Schedule: 36 hours with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
New cardiac surgery program launch

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
Experience with Impella
