Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Manchester, New Hampshire
  • 12-hour evening shifts: 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • No call requirement
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Hampshire
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • Triage
  • Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
  • Experience with Epic
  • 2 current professional references within the last 3 years, including one supervisor reference

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience
  • Strong PEDS presence experience

Unit Details

  • Fast-paced Emergency Department with combined adult/pediatric care
  • Average daily census: 70
  • Visits per day: 160
  • 36 rooms
  • 50 beds

Float Scope

  • May float to ICU and ED for helping hands
  • Helping Hands / Team Nursing approach
  • Patient sitting may be assigned
  • Will not take a patient that does not match the clinical assignment or team
