Description
Critical Care Float
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 11/16
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Float scope: all critical care units
- First-timers accepted: No
- Locals accepted: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- 3 years of critical care float experience
- Critical care float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias with telemetry
- Ventilator management
- IV start
- Conscious sedation
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
- ICP
- PA Lines
Additional Notes
- Must work 2 of the 3 holidays; Christmas RTO is not available
- RTO must be submitted before facility submission; additional RTO will not be granted after offer
- References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN
- Tele is required
- Epic is used for charting
- Onsite parking is available at additional cost
