Description

CVICU/CCU RN

Overview

Contract RN role in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
13-week contract.
12-hour night shifts, including weekend rotation.
Must agree to call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs.
Housing is available during the assignment, based on availability, at additional cost.

Unit / Clinical Setting

CVICU with coverage for CCU as well.
2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab.
Strong CVICU skills are required.
Day 0 CVICU experience is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
3 years of CVICU experience.
CVICU experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience working with cardiac patients.
Experience in a critical care setting.
Experience with immediate post-operative care.
Flu vaccination required from Oct 1 through April 1; no declinations accepted.

Nursys RN license.
Proof of flu vaccine.
