Interventional Radiology

Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Carmel, Indiana
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract

  • Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
  • Hours per week: 40

Role Details

  • Interventional Radiology assignment
  • Call is required 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend
  • First timers not accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT
  • Experience with the C-arm
  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
  • Experience with Philips imaging equipment
  • Experience with Acist injector
  • Experience with Medrad power injector
  • Experience with Rotopro
  • Experience with Diamondback
  • Experience with IVUS
  • Experience with OCT
  • Experience with Shock wave

Procedures / Clinical Experience

  • Cardiac: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temp pacer, perm pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI call
  • IR: venous access, drains placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embos, GI/Post Partum/other internal bleeds
