Description
Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
- 13-week contract
- Clinical, patient-facing role
- 36 guaranteed hours
Schedule
- 4x10 hour shifts per week
- Possible 5:00 AM start times
- Some late days during the week
- Weekend and holiday call
- Weekend on call every 6 weeks
- 1 weekend call from Friday to Sunday in a 6-week period
- Must be able to respond within 20 minutes of a call-out
- Holidays as required
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Responsibilities
- Coordinates nursing care for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Participates in patient and family teaching
- Provides leadership while working with other team members and disciplines to maintain professional nursing standards
Additional Details
- Must be willing to float to units/hospitals
- Meditech is used at the facility
- Solid navy scrubs/dress code
